Here's how the story goes...
S'posed to meet a friend [a cool South African one called Mr. H] on a sunny Saturday morning near the garage where i have to take me car. As i leave my home i call Mr. H to tell him where we meet. So, i make my way there and jump out of my jeep to talk to the mechanic. The mechanic jumps in the car to give it a quick spin and diagnose the problem. Meanwhile Mr. H is on the seen near the garage and tells me that there's a distraught looking geezer who seems to have broken his mobile phone. I enquired from the mechanic briefly and left the scene.
Anyway, after 1 hour of driving around in Doha traffic, i realise i have to call home for something. I reach for my mobile and hey guess what... it ain't there [excuse the bad Americanized Grammar, bad influences from Morad!!). I ask Mr H to call my number (as you do) and it rings but no answer. Then I asked Mr H about the earlier incident with the broken phone outside the garage about which mobile it was. An N92 (suspicously similar to mine).
Cut a long story short... the phone must have been dropped outside the car and my jeep drove straight over it.
Checkit out... not too bad considering it was hit by a 4X4 (will have to get my team to try the same with a Motorola)
